Sure,
you're bound to find gardens in the Garden State, but there's
much more to New Jersey than its nickname. New Jersey, which
is easily accessible from most major Northeast cities, has rolling
hills and mountains, unparalleled Victorian charm in small historic
villages and 127 miles of white sand beaches.
It
is also home to "America's Favorite Playground" --
Atlantic City -- which hosts 37 million visitors each year for
business and pleasure. It's in Atlantic City where you can stroll
the world's first boardwalk and enjoy non-stop casino gaming.
Take
a step back through time to New Jersey, one of the original
13 colonies and a place where history lives on. New Jersey saw
more than 100 Revolutionary War battles and it has many museums
and historical sites documenting its unique heritage. The state
was also home to the nineteenth-century's greatest inventor,
Thomas Alva Edison, and visitors can now tour his sprawling
research laboratory located in West Orange.
